Lyrics:

Built from blind faith
Passed down from self-induced fantasy
Turn a page to justify
Conjuring power - It opens wide
On your seventh day
Is that how it's done?
Twisting your eyes to perceive
All that you want
To assume from ignorance
Inflicting wounds with your cross-turned dagger

Inside crystal mountain
Evil takes its form
Inside crystal mountain
Commandments are reborn

All the traps are set to confine
All who get in the way of the divine
In sight and in mind of the hypocrite
A slave to the curse forever confined

Shatter the myth
Don't cut yourself
On your words against dreams made of steel
Stronger than any faith
That inflicts pain and fear
Is that how it's done?
Twisting your eyes to perceive all that you want
To assume from ignorance
Inflicting wounds with your cross-turned dagger

Inside crystal mountain
Evil takes its form
Inside crystal mountain
Commandments are reborn

One of my fave Epica covers.I think it was Epica's very first attempt of death metal.I simply adore Mark's screams here,as far as I heared in an interview he developed his screams on Crystal Moountain, for the very first time Smile I also think the guitar solo is fabulous, the keys are very interesting and Simone's short vocal lines are cool too Smile

Well imo it's their worst cover. It's done with the CTO equipment and mixing and that is horrible bad thing.
I think they could do tons better today.

Yeah the mixing is quite average but I like the overall feeling of the song Smile. But yes nowadays I think it could have sounded better...
